Skywatch Friday – Tree in Winter

A couple weeks ago I went out for an afternoon run. I have passed this tree countless times but that day I stopped and took a picture of it. I like trees in winter, you can see the shape better.

If you look closely you can see signs of ice damage that so many of Tulsa’s trees had last year.

For great views of the sky from all over the world check Skywatch Friday.

Great job with the picture Yogi! It’s really beautiful.

I’m amazed at how well the trees have bounced back from that horrible ice storm. In another year or two we probably won’t even notice.
But, it was sad seeing them after that storm. It was pure devestation.

I agree that trees have a special beauty in winter, maybe because they make us think of possibilities. I like the gray sky behind with a hint of highlights.
