Skywatch Friday – View from Nowhere

Late January this year, I spent my lunch hour geocaching in East Tulsa during a glorious clear, breezy, brisk Oklahoma January day. This is a view from the geocache named “Nowhere” back to my truck which is about a half mile away. Quite an interesting walk down a long abandoned road.

Thank you very much for visiting.

For views of the sky from all over the world check out Skywatch Friday.

I wonder where that road used to go, back when it really was a road!
Hope you had success in finding your geocache.

Lovely photo of the trail but it looked so deserted and abandoned. Have a nice weekend, Yogi. I like the ID of Yogi. 🙂

Lovely blue sky, I can almost feel the “briskness” of the day. Aren’t abandoned roads fun?

Thanks for stopping by my photo blog and commenting!

    I love this picture!
By the way, did you see the IT’s response to your comment today?
I laughed so hard my stomach hurt.

Nice choice! It reminded me of the music «We’re on the road to nowhere», by «Talking Heads»!

(I love the dog in your avatar’s picture!!!)

It DOES look somewhat “nowhere-ish,” but that’s the charm of what you were doing. I letterbox and love the places it takes me.

This is pretty neat Yogi. You seem to know a lot of cool places to take pictures at. Didn’t it worry you walking down that road by yourself? It would have scared me silly. Too many crazy people out there.

That looks like 46th street north? Or what used to be 46th street north before 266 was built along the north side of the airport.

Follow the ILS lights north from there and you’ll find an abandoned water treatment facility. Pretty cool.
