Early Morning Skywatch

Last week I ran for 4 miles early one morning as the sun rose and the moon set.

Sorry for the shaky image, looking to the east as I start at dark thirty A.M.

Moon was setting in the west.

End of the Run!

Check out other photographs of the Sky from all over
at Skywatch Friday.

I hope eveybody has a great weekend!

These are very nice sights when you’re out running. Maybe it could get complicated watching your step at the same time as you watch the skies. πŸ™‚ Thank you for your visit on my blog!

Fantastic shots! Marvelous colors and how fun to see them while you’re running! It makes the effort all the more worthwhile! Have a great weekend!

Good for you for getting out to run at that magical hour, and thanks for stopping long enough to get us these nice pictures.

Beautiful shots! I like your comment “dark thirty A.M.” When we go fly fishing before dawn we call it “Dawn patrol at oh-dark hundred”.

Yogi, Is the the secret to having a great day taking a morning jog right before sun rise? Great images. Maybe I’ll try it sometime. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the nice comments. Have a great day!

Oh, how wonderful to feel the Earth turn beneath the dome of the heavens- one orb rising as the other sets. Beautiful!
