I liked the framing of that redbud. Redbud is running neck and neck with crape myrtle as my choice to replace a flowering plum we lost to wind.

My first glimpse of the redbud, Yogi. The skies in Austin were fabulous when you visited.
Many a time I wish I was back in Texas. Of course in Big Springs all we had was tumbleweeds. But I loved it.

Looks like Austin is about 2 weeks ahead of Tulsa. But it won’t be long. If you have been out of town most of this week you will be surprised how many trees have popped out into bloom.
