Skywatch Friday – Hot

From the Japanese Gardens of the Fort Worth, Texas Botanical Gardens. It was 105 degrees the day we visited early this month. We were looking for all the shade we could get.

Check out Skywatch Friday for other views of the sky from all over.

Definitely ice tea time! Terrific capture, love your composition and the colorful tree! Hope you have a great weekend! Stay cool! Hopefully it isn’t as hot in Oklahoma — not much chance of that I guess!

It is the time of year for hot. Triple digits are forecast here. That means its time to retreat to higher elevation. You don’t have much of that in OK.

Oh, I love shade. Shade and an icy glass of water and a bucket of cold water for my feet and a good book.

It’s hot here in southern New Mexico, too, of course. We’re starting to see clouds gathering in the afternoon which means monsoon season is coming soon! Hurray!

The other night it was too hot for even a sheet and I was awakened by rain drops blowing in on my feet. Lovely!

Yogi, thank you for this fine leafy shot (inspiring, as you can tell) and thank you for voting for my photos. I’m just learning and it took some nerve to enter the contest, with all those beautiful professional-looking shots.

Are those Japanese maples? I love them! It is hot here too, but seldom do we get to triple digits!

Iced cold water and some shade is what we need!

    Stay cool!

The sun can come through the leaves and make you hot. Right now, it is winter here, and I guess after the cold, we appreciate the warmth.

It’s super hot in France too, above 30C. I don’t complain, even though we are sweating like little Canadian pigs!
