SuperPizzaBoy and I went to see the movie Yogi Bear. Dan Aykroyd provides the voice of Yogi and Justin Timberlake is Boo Boo’s voice.
The movie had bad reviews so my expectations were low but I didn’t think that it was really that bad. I mean what do expect from Yogi? SPB and I had some popcorn and enjoyed ourselves.
I give it a rating of of 5 stars out of 10. Kids may like it, the parents are happy that the kids are happy. We didn’t see the 3D version. It would be hard to imagine that it would be worth it.
From the commercials and previews I think it would be a painful experience to go see it. I’m glad my grandkids do not want to see it. But thanks for the review. I feel justified now.
Just hope you and SPB had fun with lots of popcorn! There will be better movies later, but the important thing is the time you spent together — but you know that! Have a great week!

What’s not to like about Yogi? I’m not a Dan Aykroyd fan but I love me some Justin Timberlake. He brought sexy back.
We went to the movies last night with WP’s two daughters (one of mine is in CA and the other was spending time with her dad) and I saw the movie poster for this. Looks like fun if you have the right age kid. We saw the re-make of True Grit. It was good with that plucky little actress but not one of the Coen’s best films.
