We discovered this charmer during our excursion to the Tulsa Zoo last weekend. She was really sweet and friendly. It must have been because it was dinner time.
According to Wikipedia. The breed comes from Scotland. They are very hardy and can survive harsh weather. She was enjoying the sunshine along with us that day.
Please check out Camera Critters.
Now that’s a redhead!! And what a fun shot for the day! She looks as though she has something to say, but then we females usually do have something to say, don’t we???? Have a great weekend!

What a cutie pie! I love that red hair.
That’s what you call a true shag haircut!
She looks like she has bangs, and her reddish coat seems appropriate for a Scottish lass. She’s ready for wintry weather with all that hair.
I think she has her eye on you.
Cutie-patutie 😀
Aww, what a cutie! I love the Scottish haircut 🙂

She’s a cutie all right. Looks as if she might have some Woolly Mammoth in her genetic background.
What a fabulous close-up of this pretty girl!
Great shot.
I agree with you, real charmer.
Stylish horns, I like that head gear.
Forgive me for being so far behind that I haven’t been to your blog in awhile. I’m trying hard to catch up today with everyone. =)
I was really wanting to go to the zoo last week. It was the perfect weather for it.
Great pic!
One of my favorite breeds. I’ve never thought of them being in a zoo, just out in the pasture. She looks like she’s about to say something, haha!
