   @Roger Owen Green – nope the store is closed and the building now occupied by a catering outfit. There is absolutely nothing about the store on Google.

   I love these old signs!! You still find a number of them in this old area of Seattle where I live and it’s always like stepping back in time! Great choice for the H Day!!

    Must have been a fine establishment in its day. There is something fascinating about old signs. I wonder why the store closed and who was Harrington 🙂

    The second floor was once home to KOME 1300 radio and the studios are still there. Jim Hartz paid a visit in 2009 and took pictures.

    Since there’s nothing on Google about this operation, it is great that the ghost sign is still visible. Someone in Tulsa must still have memories of shopping there.

    You seem to have a lot of classic retro signs in Tulsa! I like it. The texture of the picture is interesting.

    I like to see those old signs that have survived on the sides of buildings. A little bit of history learned painlessly!

    I love these old billboards of sorts. I am always amazed by this antique paint that has survived the elements for so long.

    I’ve spent a few hours in Harrington’s when I was a kid. Mom usually bought my Easter clothes there. Thanks for the memories.

    The sign is fading fast, but it’s a nice remembrance of the history of the area.
