Tulsa Airport

I flew to Houston Friday on business. I have always loved the Tulsa Airport. It was built back in the early 1960’s and is very sleek with lots of glass, exposed steel steel, and gleaming highly polished floors. The whole structure has a very light and airy feeling to it.

Oh, great reflections and what a great capture! It does look like a great airport! I love the feeling of openness! Hope you and SPB and Sweetie have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!! Enjoy!

I love that style too — great windows for looking at the planes. The Eugene Airport is like that as well, and I remember when we used to be able to go there, eat at the restaurant and then walk around upstairs for the view and to watch the planes — even if we weren’t going anywhere. Not now though. No ticket, no view!

Sure is shiny for nice reflections. The 60s architecture reminds me of Harlingen, TX airport. (Which I actually hope to never see again.)
