Friday Reflections – Chihuly Garden and Glass – Seattle

Chihuly Garden and Glass is in Seattle at the base of the Space Needle. It is dedicated to the glass artist Dale Chihuly and it is simply amazing. If you go make sure that you have plenty of time and that your camera is fully charged. It is simply amazing. The place is brand new and has room to grow.

We went through the galleries and gardens twice and still didn’t think we saw everything.

That is wonderful! We saw similar glass in the Casino at Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas. And, there is a great deal of glass on board the ship where we spend half of our lives.

Your images are wonderful. I just love glass so this is a treat! Gorgeous!

Great pictures — his stuff is magical isn’t it? We haven’t seen this new place, but once went to his studio in Tacoma, where we watched apprentices create some of these works — an amazing experience.

Stunning colours, shapes and designs … I wouldn’t know where to look first! But the boatload of glass in the 2nd photo would make a great place to start!
