A few years ago we went to Legoland in California. It is a fun place but what I really liked was all the lego cities they had. You could lay your camera right down in them and get some lifelike shots.

We stumbled onto this building in Seattle while on vacation there last summer. I loved the windows in the ivy.

Love Legoland. That photo does indeed look real. I cannot imagine the time it takes to put a Lego city together.
i’m amazed by the LegoLand – that is awesome. played with them as a kid. would love to get some more as a adult but no clue what to try. maybe something Harry Potter or what? neat life size shot. i thought it was real town at first. ( :

That building with the windows covered in ivy is so cool! I would love to go to LegoLand someday, but so far my boy (who is 6) has absolutely no interest in legos!
I had to enlarge your Legoland photo to prove to myself that it was actually made of Legos! Those windows and ivy are gorgeous.
You captured some of our favorite places! We were members and frequent visitors of the Missouri Botanical Gardens when we lived in STL…my husband is a big Chihuly fan. And Legoland? I think my kiddo could live there. 🙂 Great photos! I’m so glad to have found your lovely blog.

Wonderful set! I’ll have to show my grandsons the lego shot! Beautiful image at the gardens. I’m always blown away by Chihuly’s glass! I was fortunate to see an exhibit of his, but it was indoors; still awesome though! I also love the window shot. It looks like a fairy tale building made of ivy!!

Well, once I got past feeling like an idiot looking at your first picture and immediately thinking “man, do those buildings look like legos” and then I read – well, duh! And your comment about drawing something and then photographing it – LOL! Your work of art and windows pictures are simply wonderful. Thanks for sharing with this week’s hunt.
Thank goodness, Yogi – I thought those big hearts were in your living room! I wonder what happens to that Chihuly glass if a big hail storm comes along? That’s a great window shot – I like the charm of the ivy.
Apart from the Eureka Springs, I love everything about this blog. My only query would be how many creepy crawlies could get into a room with all that ivy? I do have a vivid imagination and think it looks beautiful from the outside.

Great set! There is finally a Legoland in our neck of the woods, but I’ll wait to hear from friends first before taking the kids on a 3+ hours’ plane ride + a bus ride just to get there…
