Skywatch Friday – July Time

Bicycling skywatch 1-Edit

A scene from a bike ride. I don’t really remember where. I go all sorts of places these days and I have my cheap trusy gopro clone clicking photos every 20 seconds. I only keep literally about 5 to 10% of them. A two ride is 360 photos. Typically 5 to 10 are keepers. The lens is terrible but I love the sky.

Bicycling Skywatch 2-Edit

Another photo from my gopro clone. This one is along the creek turnpike trail. Nice views, and hills, followed by hills, and then more hills.

Skywatch 3-Edit

This photo is from the archives. I took it last year and I don’t know where. Nice sky though. And a dominating planter. It looks like a parking lot and I don’t know where.

Sorry, I am kind of boring. I have the back from vacation, back to work, its hot and humid blues. I ride my bike a lot though.

How about you? How is your summer going? How is your winter going to the many great bloggers who live in New Zealand and Australia?

Yes sir, hot, humid, don’t want to get outside with the camera, hurry up autumn blues. Let’s see what I can find in the archives. Have a blessed week Yogi.

Summer is hot… I know it is whiny of me to complain even a little about heat since we purposely escape in the winter to the land of eternal summer…. but there is just something inherently wrong with over-90 degree temps here in western Oregon. And we need rain.

Beautiful blue skies and fluffy clouds wherever you were when you took the pictures! Those kind of clouds remind me of growing up in Eastern Washington state, where it was REALLY really hot and we hadn’t even heard of A/C. They make me think of lying in the grass looking up at the sky and wishing I was floating on those clouds. (I was never very good with scientific facts.)

Hello, I have been enjoying summer, my favorite time of year. I am not a winter person. Your skies are beautiful, great collection of photos. Enjoy your day and weekend ahead.

That’s pretty cool to have your gopro set for 20 second photos, even if you only get a few good ones. Those that you posted here are great. The planter reminds me of a giant agave plant!

Your sky shots are so, so beautiful! Yes, we haven’t have rain for more than 2 weeks. It is very hot, humid and I am spending more time indoors.

These are all beautiful photos Yogi. I’m afraid I’m not getting out much to take photos this year and I really need to up my game if I could ever find some free time, lol. Things have been so busy for some time but eventually I hope to spend more time on photography to share. Summer is whizzing by.

Ideal shots for Skywatch. Especially like the third one … I’ll have to give some thought to using our GoPro for these sorts of shots – could be very interesting. Our summer is speeding by, but for all the right reasons – visitors, touring around, summer parties … all good stuff!
