Skywatch Friday – Early December Edition

Skwatch - plaza 1-Edit

This is a view from the office. Back on standard time and the days getting shorter we are starting to get more colorful skies.  One of the very few benefits of losing daylight savings time as far as I am concerned.

Speaking of daylight savings time, I come across this sun dial recently that was an hour off. What’s up with that? How do you adjust it. That thing is grouted in. I thought I could discreetly rotate it to get the time right but it is not budging.

So that’s about it for this week. I am linking with Skywatch Friday

Hello, gorgeous sunset. The days are too short for me, I like more daylight hours. The sundial is cool, I have never seen one like that. Enjoy your day, have a great weekend!

You guys just switched over the time…that’s a few weeks late! As a djembe player [African drum], that looks like an awfully uncomfortable position to drum….

Although I loved your office sunet, I enjoyed the sundial even more. LOL, but I’ve heard that joke many times. It’s a beautiful sundial, though.

Possibly when people relied on sundials the exact time wasn’t terribly important. That’s a neat one. Beautiful skies. But I too would like to stay on DST all year. I don’t like the long dark evenings.
