Skywatch Friday – Arkansas River Views

20190326-193717-11

Since daylight savings time I am bicycling along the Arkansas River Trails here in Tulsa so I get to see lots of sunsets and other views of the river.

I love the old Railroad Bridge converted to a cool pedestrian bridge. It is blocked off and is going to be replaced soon.

How romantic is this, a golden sunset at the tank farm of one of our local refineries. Ah, the sweet smell of sour crude.

The redbuds have lost their blooms by now but hey, I am showing you a photo anyway.

And some purplish tones from another sunset.

    Hello,
The sunset views at the river are beautiful. I love the redbud trees, lovely blooms. Thanks for hosting Skywatch! Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend!

What a scenic place to bike – water and blooms and the setting sun. I’m at the beach, but it’s been cloudy (no snow though…).

I’ve never heard it referred to as a tank farm, with the smell of crude. I like your sense of humor! Beautiful sky shots.

Love the sunset photos, Yogi, espcially the unusal purplish one. The smell of crude oil gives me a headache. I even have problems pumping gas and have to hold my breath.

All beautiful pictures. Our redbuds are on the way out, and in fact, the one in our front yard apparently died over the winter. Maybe it got way too wet. Have a great week, Yogi, and hope you dodge the terrible weather they are having in Wichita and elsewhere.
