Heather and I went to the gym the other day. Being the empty nesters that we are we went to a local tavern for a burger and a beer that had an outside area because we wanted to be safe.
It was a beautiful late afternoon and we had some great late from the setting sun.

We’ve only been eating in restaurants if they have outdoor seating. I’m not looking forward to fall/winter weather when outdoor areas won’t be available. When that happens we will go back to cooking and takeout. – Margy

Sounds like a nice time. I haven’t been to a restaurant yet, in or out. When my daughter went to one in Kansas a few months ago, she and her dining partner were the only patrons! Not worth the cost of payroll.
We used to love to go to brew pubs (indoors or out) but don’t feel comfortable going back yet.
Almost as if you are dating again! LOL. I can’t remember the last time we ate out at a restaurant!
