Skywatch Friday – Ice Storm on the Way

Ice storm 006

We’ve had more weather. I took this picture of the western sky from my office window late last week just a few hours before I left work to go home, while I could.

Sunday morning fog when I went out to get the paper.

Check out out Skywatch Friday for other images of the sky from all over the world.

Great photos!!! I can feel the chill just looking at them. And that second photo is great, completely captures the feel of what it was like on Sunday.

You do indeed have a terrific perch for sky shots where you work! Wow! That first one is gorgeous! The second one looks COLD! Hope you have a great weekend, Yogi! We actually have some blue today, wish I could send you some!

Both pictures are very good! I have this theory that winter skies are more beautiful. I don’t have a logic explanation for it… they just look special!

I love your office window views. Pretty sun rays coming out of those low clouds. But it does look like a storm is approaching.
I like the gold color of the fog in the street lamp.
