Skywatch Friday – Bixby Countryside

Bixby Skywatch edit

A crossroads near the Tulsa Suburb of Bixby. It is amazing how fast one can be in the country from the city. There is something about getting out of town relaxes the mind and slows down the pulse. I like life in the city but I need to get away from time to time to keep my head on straight.

Fortunately, I live in a relatively small community of around 35,000. like you said, it doesn’t take long to run out of town and into the country side. There is a lot of country side around our small city that looks very much like the image that you have posted. Have a blessed week-end.

I do love the trees against those moody skies with their bare branches!! Great capture and composition!! Hope you’re getting ready for a fun weekend!!

Love the bare tree ‘bones’ against the pretty sky. Fort Myers is very much the kind of city where you don’t have to go far to be in farmland (or I guess vice-versa). I like some of both too!

A beautiful sky and bare trees. You are lucky to be able to get out of town so quickly. We really have to battle traffic and drive quite a while here in S CA to escape suburbia.

Beautiful landscape, love the bare trees against the big sky!
Fortunately, all one needs to to in Vienna is fetching the metro or a tram, and nature’s within easy reach.
    Happy Sky Watch,
    Merisi
