Spring Flowers & a Wedding

Heather’s Daylilies

Sunday night, Heather and I dressed up and attended our first wedding in a long time at a beautiful venue out in the country. Although we are both vaccinated I was a little nervous sitting shoulder to shoulder with people inside. First time we have done that in a while.

Last Year’s Flowers

The bride and groom had known each other in high school way back when and ended up together after going through some trials. The bride was radiant and the groom was smiling. I don’t know either one but it seems like this is meant to last.

More Last Year’s Flowers

It seems like we are seeing more and more of that. People have to grow up and get seasoned a little bit before they figure out what is going on.

I wish them well. I hope I don’t get Covid!! Take care folks.

Gorgeous flowers! Congratulations to the couple and to you for venturing out without a mask now that you’ve been told it’s safe to do so when fully vaccinated and the incubation period has passed. We’re not quite there yet in my neck of the woods but imagine it will definitely feel strange.

Lockdown restrictions were eased yesterday. We can now meet other people in our own home although only from one other household but it means I will be able to see my son and Dil who I haven’t seen for 9 months. Liked your flower photos. Lots of colour and variety. Thanks for your comments on my blog. I think we both share the excitement of wandering off into the unknown. I often walk in unknown areas but I have faith I will find my way back.

Wow. A wedding. We aren’t all vaxxed here, although our numbers are way down. Only one case in our community. I’d still be a bit worried, though!

Beautiful flowers! The NPS says we can stop wearing masks inside federally owned buildings now if we’re fully vaccinated. I tried it for a few minutes while I was out in the booth, but then I decided I didn’t feel comfortable at all. I think it’s too soon. I’ll still be wearing my mask around the hundreds of visitors I see every day.

We are still masking indoors in public even though both vaccinated … I didn’t even take a mask last when I went for my walks though — and at first even that felt dangerous. Not sure I could handle a wedding yet (fortunately nobody has invited me to one )).
