I aimed the trailcam at a hidden corner of the backyard and when I pulled the chip a few days later I found this image of a fox!! It is beautiful and very small. That pot is only about 15 inches tall.
And here is our rescue terrier Sadie leaping at something. When we play fetch with a ball she bounds after the ball leaping in the air as she goes. She’s a fun dog.
My wife and I found this goose family on a hike.
I think this is a yellow crowned night heron. I found it at Lafortune Park here in Tulsa. I’ve seen them along this creek before.
Here is Lizzie the cat. I am still recovering from my knee replacement surgery and I am itching to get back to yoga so I thought I would try an online class at home. Lizzie wanted to join in but wanted my mat. Found out that I am not ready for regular yoga quite yet. Fortunately there are challenging chair yoga classes that I can take.
And our sleepy little tiny Pomeranian, Kodi. He doesn’t know that he’s tiny is a problem.
A short 20 second video of a few of the birds from the bird feeder cam in our backyard.
I’m linking with Saturday’s Critters.
Hello,
Lizzie, Kodi and Sadie are all beautiful pets. Cute photo of the fox.
The geese family is nice too, the goslings are getting big.
The Yellow-crowned Night Heron is a great sighting.
I enjoy the bird video and the music is fun.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a wonderful weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
What a shock to see a fox! WOW! That’s one critter I rarely see here. We have more coyotes! Love the goose family and hope you are continuing to heal and feel better! Hugs!
You’ve seen some beautiful birds on your bird cam, Yogi! My younger brother, who lives in Massachusetts, has a similar setup and Grackles keep coming for the seed, and they scare away all the other birds. Tge fox and your family pets were also nice to see.
I tried to comment on your Skywatch post and for some reason couldn’t–your blog format was all mixed up with your sidebar where the comment box should have been. It was so strange. It may have been an internet problem on my end. I visited your sister’s blog for the first time because I saw her link in your profile.
…we have a resident fox in our back yard and no rabbits!
A fox! I may have seen one once on a local walking trail that was deserted at the time – people do get interesting pictures on trailcams and those smart bird feeders. I also wanted to leave a comment on your Skywatch post – you got some great sunsets with your drone. Too bad that politics have intruded on your enjoyment of said drone. Alana ramblinwitham
That’s fun, a fox! Cute critters all around.
Sadie is a hoot! Great shot of her leaping through the air. I wonder if Kodi thinks his world has been turned upside down. After my meniscus surgery I had to give up regular yoga. Just too uncomfortable being on my knees for any amount of time. Love the heron, I’ve been trying to get a good shot of the blue herons at the nature center for a future painting.
What a surprising visit from the fox. I haven’t seen one is years.
Love all the animal sightings! Good luck with your knee recovery and getting back to yoga!
