They are beautiful especially with the large water features.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0043\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/22071995288\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5749\/22071995288_938fd7ddf5_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0043\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The plantings are new and need to fill out and they will fairly quickly but the terraces are a great place to visit. They have a wide asphalt pathway that covers the entire facility that appears to be accessible to powered wheelchairs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0052\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/22071538070\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/760\/22071538070_c2b49e34a3_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0052\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>W<\/a>e are very fortunate to have something like this in Tulsa.\u00a0<a title=\"_DSC0033\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/22072172638\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5794\/22072172638_7c635844ee_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0033\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And there is more to come. Work continues on the Children&#8217;s Gardens and they are scheduled to open in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0092\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/21635957814\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/685\/21635957814_4a9cf2834d_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0092\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0092\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/21635957814\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\">A<\/a>s a bonus, the <a href=\"http:\/\/tulsaglassblowing.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tulsa Glass Blowing School<\/a> was displaying and selling glass pumpkins and other decorative objects. They started out with over seven hundred pieces and by the time we showed up they were half gone. The pieces were gorgeous putting them out in the sun was about all the merchandising that needed to be done.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0090\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/22232672806\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5796\/22232672806_8d5e615d06_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0090\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>We found a couple we liked for ourselves and a gift.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Scarecrow Collage\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/22291173415\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/679\/22291173415_d791a37026_z.jpg\" alt=\"Scarecrow Collage\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They also had a multitude of scarecrows\u00a0made by everyone from Girl Scout troops to Restaurants. These were some of the favorites.<\/p>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\u00a0<a title=\"Scarecrow HDR\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/22102656750\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5665\/22102656750_44e431a886_z.jpg\" alt=\"Scarecrow HDR\" width=\"471\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Walter was my favorite. His bones were made out of musical instruments.<\/p>\n<p>All in all a great day. It was nice checking up on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tulsabotanic.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Botanic Gardens<\/a>.
