Wow, a lot happened this year, and wow, it all accelerated and got very fast at the end and then the end came and I guess we were all right.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0799\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/26670594024\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/8\/7305\/26670594024_765dc3892d_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0799\" width=\"427\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It was all very emotional for me as my little baby boy that we brought home from the hospital 18 years ago is now a big strapping young man.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0809\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27207306821\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c6.staticflickr.com\/8\/7137\/27207306821_7d46a2ab85_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0809\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>He is still our baby boy though except he is going to register to vote next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0811\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27180466672\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/8\/7625\/27180466672_8df6de9848_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0811\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>We were fortunate to have my Sister <a href=\"http:\/\/ellensnewblog.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ellen<\/a> (far right) her dashing husband Irv (far left), and my brother Bob (betwsen Logan and Ellen) travel a long distance to share the event with us.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0816\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27277202005\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c6.staticflickr.com\/8\/7352\/27277202005_96e26f0872_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0816\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The High School principal, Dr. Burrows, a very nice man came by and congratulated Logan. He told Heather a few weeks ago that they took a risk admitting Logan and he was very glad that he did. We are glad that he they gave Logan a chance also.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0818\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/26671240393\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c2.staticflickr.com\/8\/7342\/26671240393_d5ae0e8a76_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0818\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And here is me. No we didn&#8217;t plan on being so color coordinated.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0820\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/26671177093\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c6.staticflickr.com\/8\/7069\/26671177093_329a913078_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0820\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And one of Logan&#8217;s classmates, Matt. Matt went out of his way to make Logan feel welcome when he first attended.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0823\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27206866331\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c4.staticflickr.com\/8\/7047\/27206866331_329d286c59_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0823\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And this is Logan&#8217;s Kindergarten teacher from a long time ago. She had her hands full with an oversize class and Logan took a lot of attention but she hung with him. She was the first of a series of teachers from several schools who had a heart of kids and went the extra mile to give kids like Logan the attention he needed.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0824\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27276982305\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c2.staticflickr.com\/8\/7407\/27276982305_49426c770a_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0824\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And this is the Kindergarten teacher&#8217;s daughter who went to school with Logan way back when and also graduated from the same school with Logan. She spent a lot of time helping Logan back then and they reconnected when Logan enrolled at the new school.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0827\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27001299040\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/8\/7449\/27001299040_caf4bc9349_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0827\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Another look at Irv and Ellen. They make a very handsome couple don&#8217;t they. They are very nice. Our dogs fell in love with them though and have been down in the dumps since Irv and Ellen left to go back to Colorado.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0844\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27214947472\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/8\/7071\/27214947472_684516e926_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0844\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Afterwards Nana hosted a party for Logan at her house the next day. \u00a0Many of Heather&#8217;s relatives attended the party as wells as Ellen and Irvin.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0841\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27279085816\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/8\/7307\/27279085816_6b0f7fa208_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0841\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The party was a combined graduation and birthday party and had a drama theme since Logan&#8217;s first love is acting and performing. Notice the cake with the marquee.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0843\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27037027610\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c3.staticflickr.com\/8\/7095\/27037027610_f9b81ae6f1_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0843\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And the little chalk board like they use for movies. Or used to use anyway.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0847\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/27312022335\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c8.staticflickr.com\/8\/7520\/27312022335_d6486558cd_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0847\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Several of Logan&#8217;s friends showed up and all had a good time. This is where I admit that I am a bad son in law and did not get a picture of Logan and his grandmother together. Don&#8217;t you worry though because I will get a picture and add it to this post. They have a special bond that brings tears to eyes when I think about it.<\/p>\n<p>So anyways, maybe I&#8217;ll be a better blog friend now.
