It is the 100th Anniversary of the Show!<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0623\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/33055861214\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/3\/2948\/33055861214_f59903a46d_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0623\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been going to the show off and on for over two decades and it has steadily shrunk. Maybe this year will be a turning point.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0622\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/33858395236\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/3\/2843\/33858395236_24c96d2ce3_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0622\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>They had new cars of course and many vintage cars. The vintage cars in my eyes are just plain a lot more interesting than the new cars. Most of the new cars look like Toyotas in my opinion. Nothing wrong with Toyotas. I love them that are very good dependable cars but a bit boring.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0628\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/33742725822\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/3\/2917\/33742725822_f2756793b8_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0628\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Not that many new cars have a sense of style. There are exceptions. I love the Ford Flex above and of course the car above it, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dodge.com\/hostc\/bmo\/CUD201703LADR22A\/2DR\/configurator.do#\/summary\" target=\"_blank\">Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat<\/a>. I got on the web site and configured one for only $75,000 bucks and change. That is about five times what I paid for my Kia Soul.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0647\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/33055121004\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/4\/3933\/33055121004_e6e107d031_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0647\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>For about the same price as the Hellcat you can have this <del>Toyota\u00a0<\/del> uh er, \u00a0I\u00a0mean <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maseratiusa.com\/maserati\/us\/en\/shopping-tools\/configurator#bp-levante\">Maserati Levant<\/a>\u00a0boring if you ask me.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0625\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/33055791804\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/3\/2924\/33055791804_bbf323b3d2_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0625\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Now this Range Rover has a little style.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"_DSC0616\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/33056055204\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/4\/3684\/33056055204_43801b08f0_z.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0616\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Or this storm chasing vehicle. I don&#8217;t get storm chasers. Do storm chasers do anything useful. Here in Oklahoma we watch storms on TV a lot. The typical storm chaser report is like &#8220;Yea Dan, we are in downtown Bartlesville and there is definitely some wind and some rain!&#8221; Seriously dudes. Stay home, get off the road. Our family always had sketchy cars. I never knew if they would start or not. I don&#8217;t know how we did it back in the days before cell phones. I had lots of experience with getting a jump from somebody and other skills necessary to get things going.
