Originally they were placed in front of ORU&#8217;s City of Faith Medical Center but were moved to their present place on campus in 1991 well after the medical school became defunct.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Praying Hands Sculpture - Oral Roberts University by alnbbates, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/12575813343\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/12575813343_927cce1938_z-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"Praying Hands Sculpture - Oral Roberts University\" width=\"640\" height=\"432\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Although they are popularly called Praying Hands, the official name of the piece is &#8220;Healing Hands.&#8221; Supposedly it is the largest bronze sculpture in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Praying Hands - Oral Roberts University, Tulsa by alnbbates, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/5318157036\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/5318157036_0db1866877_z-300x288.jpg\" alt=\"Praying Hands - Oral Roberts University, Tulsa\" width=\"640\" height=\"615\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">It has a lot of visitors and one of the &#8220;must see&#8221; things if you visit Tulsa. The university has a small free parking lot next door.
