I am always amazed by the drive.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a title=\"DSCN8516\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/34226112684\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4225\/34226112684_6a0f3300e6_z.jpg\" alt=\"DSCN8516\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Everybody loves the Transylvania, Louisiana water tower.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>I am amazed about how big our country is and how empty of people it is in many sections. As we travel through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas one can see how the countryside has become depopulated. I am not sure that is good or bad, it just kind of is.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"DSCN8520\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/34226063974\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4285\/34226063974_41f9af37d5_z.jpg\" alt=\"DSCN8520\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>I am also amazed by how beautiful the country is.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"DSCN8523\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/34938461371\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4197\/34938461371_539585f528_z.jpg\" alt=\"DSCN8523\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And the wealth it generates. And I wonder how come it doesn&#8217;t translate to the people live and work on the land. Especially in the south. You can see a deep rooted poverty. How come we don&#8217;t see that so much in the northern midwest?
