He was active almost right up to the end. He had a long full life and touched a lot of lives. I will never forget that twinkle in his eye.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Idaho 2010 164\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/4710749252\/in\/album-72157688006283505\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4031\/4710749252_56d4afcac7_z.jpg\" alt=\"Idaho 2010 164\" width=\"640\" height=\"460\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>He was preceded by Mother who passed away thirteen years ago. They made quite a team.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"20090615_131\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/6993657661\/in\/album-72157688006283505\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7049\/6993657661_c6a3acd66d_z.jpg\" alt=\"20090615_131\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Dad always had a great sense of humor, especially with his grandkids.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" title=\"IMG_0762\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/7170241646\/in\/album-72157688006283505\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7220\/7170241646_295cbbe9a7_z.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0762\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>He and Mom did a great job raising their three kids.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"20170828-144847-2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/36045198594\/in\/dateposted\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4362\/36045198594_00ecb67ed0_z.jpg\" alt=\"20170828-144847-2\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>He is buried next to Mom near Mom&#8217;s birthplace in Dubois, Idaho.<\/p>\n<p>His passing, funeral, and burial are of course sad affairs but it gave us a chance as a family to gather together, and get reacquainted.
