I don&#8217;t know if they knew something we didn&#8217;t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2d4b6Ch\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4884\/45980893292_ab909687e8_c.jpg\" alt=\"20181124-111808-1\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The museum was all decked out for Christmas. That is Frank Phillips&#8217; statue next to the tree. I told Logan to go see if any of those wrapped packages had my name on it, but he doesn&#8217;t listen to me any more. I don&#8217;t blame him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2c2DiGA\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4820\/45307212174_4ece38b146.jpg\" alt=\"20181124-113228-4\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Lots of great art in the museum. &#8220;The Trail of Tears&#8221; by Robert Lindneaux is one of my favorites depicting\u00a0 the forced removal of Native Americans from the southeast USA to Indian Territory in what is now Oklahoma. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2d8Nobk\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4848\/46033238991_c235395f93.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0410\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to art there is some historical memorabilia of Phillips Petroleum and the energy industry in general.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2d8NnJ8\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4809\/46033237471_80780ac751.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0415\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And then we wandered over to the barn to look at the critters there. My favorite was this shy miniature horse.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2ankLij\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4837\/44217406020_e8a38a3db5.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0420\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And then over to the Lodge where Frank entertained his cronies. Lots of stories about high stakes poker with oil leases and even companies won and lost during the course of an evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2d8UoQV\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4884\/46034411901_cf06c38a81.jpg\" alt=\"20181124-133858-18\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the way out of town I got a shot of Bob in front of this 66 sign. Bob turned 66 the day before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the way, the building behind the sign is the Price Tower, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is the only high rise designed by Wright, that actually got built.
