It was a bunch of long forgotten old gas station signs arranged in a giant semicircle in a field out in the middle of nowhere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/S4vcYG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7893\/32857486428_02984289ca.jpg\" alt=\"20190113-150553-5\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I passed this once before last spring on first Bike Run, the <a href=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=11851\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Tour de Cure (opens in a new tab)\">Tour de Cure<\/a> 2018. We passed it and I remember being very interested but being my first ride I didn&#8217;t feel like stopping and taking photos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/S4vexU\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7912\/32857491718_2dbb342cee.jpg\" alt=\"20190113-150734-6\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember the days of full service gas stations? You&#8217;d drive in and run over the cable making the bell ring, and somebody would be right out and you&#8217;d tell them to fill it up. They&#8217;d check the oil and fill the windshield washer tank. Ah, them were the days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Somebody has spent a bunch of money not just collecting the signs but restoring them to mint condition  and then installing them.
