I had never spent much time in the downtown area before and I was surprised to see many attractive older buildings that were well maintained and seemed to have many businesses in them along with apartments on the upper floors. The main street is also part of Route 66 as it winds its way through town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2h4UD9N\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/48614621122_c8d117f8f8.jpg\" alt=\"Sapulpa Building 2  County Courhouse\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Creek County Courthouse<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And all under some intense deep blue skies and big fluffy white clouds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2h4TTCy\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/48614474716_c03d49e4e6.jpg\" alt=\"Sapulpa Building 1\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Renovated Apartment Building<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So I enjoyed my walk up and down downtown Sapulpa.
