{"id":12599,"date":"2020-02-23T21:06:45","date_gmt":"2020-02-24T03:06:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=12599"},"modified":"2020-02-23T21:06:49","modified_gmt":"2020-02-24T03:06:49","slug":"our-world-tuesday-post-oak-lodge-and-the-race-that-wasnt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=12599","title":{"rendered":"Our World Tuesday &#8211; Post Oak Lodge and the Race that Wasn&#8217;t"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Friday after work I headed up to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Post Oak Lodg (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/postoaklodge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Post Oak Lodg<\/a>e north of Tulsa to get my runners packet for the quarter marathon event on Sunday as part of their three day <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Post Oak Challenge (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/postoaklodge.com\/events\/postoak-challenge-course-trail-run-tulsa-running-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\">Post Oak Challenge<\/a> series of races this past weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2iwXvaK\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49577081761_02714f09ef.jpg\" alt=\"Post Oak Challenge 2020\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Post Oak Lodge is a privately run event and retreat center and it is absolutely beautiful and their races are some of my favorites. I took these pics after picking up my packet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2iwYFDe\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49577312107_5c02d99d1c.jpg\" alt=\"Post Oak Challenge 2020\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Strangely enough, through some unforeseen circumstances I didn&#8217;t run the race on Sunday. That&#8217;s okay, they&#8217;ll have the race again next year and I&#8217;ll be there. In the meantime I have my memories. Four years ago <a href=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=10614\">I won second<\/a> in my age group in the race.
