My blog friends over the years have taught me to be appreciative of all the phases of blooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2iUpq9F\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49819784207_e6112bc88b_c.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0850\" width=\"533\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They did have all sorts of other plants to look at it including some beautiful lily&#8217;s like these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2iUnXrU\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49819499266_2821b80aa1.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0840\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We found a bunch of water lily&#8217;s alongside a small stream going through the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2iUk9VP\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49818952553_2afc84d7d6.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0844\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Heather and I really liked this Norway Maple. I had never heard of such a tree  before and it is really striking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2iUnVsJ\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49819492586_8328808c1b.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC0843\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This guy just wanted us to go home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2iUEAaB\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49822744581_9848b132f4_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Somehow, Logan agreed to be a butterfly. He&#8217;s a big guy but he&#8217;s a butterfly now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Park had a lot of people but it is big at 132 acres and people stayed pretty well spread out. Most everything was open but the gift shop and playgrounds were closed due to the Covid-19 crisis. It wasn&#8217;t hard to physically distance ourselves from others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We ran into a former teacher of Logan&#8217;s and her family, so we caught up, from about 15 feet away. It&#8217;s amazing to me how teachers remember their students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-flickr wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2iUEz7z\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49822741041_b4b0a8de99.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So a good time was had by all. We gave Honor Heights Park five stars out of five.
