The sun was going down fast. I love the word &#8220;Gloaming.&#8221; An old <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/gloaming\" target=\"_blank\">English wor<\/a>d with roots back to the Middle Ages. I love how people say &#8220;The Gloaming.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2k84KE3\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/50619418802_93081cd3d2.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Another word for the same time of day is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/eventide\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/eventide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eventide<\/a>. An even older English word from before the 12th century.
