Their big centerpiece display is the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.okhistory.org\/publications\/enc\/entry.php?entry=WI030\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.okhistory.org\/publications\/enc\/entry.php?entry=WI030\" target=\"_blank\">Winnie Mae<\/a>, a replica of the Lockheed 5C Vega aircraft that Oklahoma aviation pioneer, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Wiley-Post\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/biography\/Wiley-Post\" target=\"_blank\">Wiley Post<\/a>, flew solo  around the world in 1933. He subsequently flew the plywood framed Winnie Mae to 50,000 feet using a homemade pressurization suit. In 1935 Post and another Oklahoma legend, Will Rogers died in an airplane crash near Point Barrow, Alaska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2kE2MwZ\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/50969846273_0688e4dda3.jpg\" alt=\"Shadows\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now back down to earth, I had a symmetrical shadow in my back yard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2kDSX5n\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/50968122361_57056d73d8.jpg\" alt=\"DSCF0493\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve started running again. Didn&#8217;t realize how much I missed it. Heather and I went to a local brewery and had a couple of their beers. As a bonus, the glass  had some interesting shadows.
