Everybody in town was there. Hardly anybody was out on the roads and paved trails of Oxley and Mohawk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2maRBx4\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51307356397_cf139a1830_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Handmade Cloth Marigolds<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I saw some of the installations for the The American Dream that I missed on my last outing here while hiking with Logan. The American Dream is part of the Greenwood Art Project that was held in conjunction of the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=13371\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=13371\" target=\"_blank\">Here is my post<\/a> on my last visit. Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenwoodartproject.org\/calendar\/the-american-dream-1\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.greenwoodartproject.org\/calendar\/the-american-dream-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The American Dream<\/a> site for more information on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mb1xDN\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51309099340_4938c7c170_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This tent is part of the installation. It symbolizes the tents that the massacre survivors lived in after the homes were burned. Reportedly some of the survivors escaped the massacre by going to what is now Oxley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2maZ4WE\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51308811014_e8c583215d.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inside walls are covered with photographs from the Massacre. Most of the installations for this project at Oxley were vandalized just a few weeks ago. It&#8217;s unknown who did it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2maUYyq\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51308012456_7f1dcf8da5_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I was back on the quiet trails of Oxley. Wife, Heather taught a cardio drumming class at our gym. It was a &#8220;pop-up&#8221; class. Everybody had a good time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mbbVee\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51311123043_cee93ec764_c.jpg\" alt=\"First Light on Backyard Flowers\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flowers are still growing. Here is a shot from early Wednesday morning catching the first light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mb8oTh\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51310435630_a75eded47d_z.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The grass is still growing. I turned on my Garmin GPS Sport Watch while mowing the yard so it tracked my movements. Our lot is about 1\/6th of an acre, so very small and I walked about two miles. The grass was long and I cross hatched it so you can see that in the front yard (lower part of map). It also looks like I ventured into both of my neighbors houses. (I deny everything!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mbcuyN\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51311235190_2d6ba863a9_z.jpg\" alt=\"Moon\" width=\"570\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I usually shoot full moons but we didn&#8217;t have one this week so here is a 1\/8th moon. Sometimes we just have to go with what we are given!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s about it for this week.
