The weather has been okay. Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy. Today it is kind of stormy. I guess that it is related to Tropical Storm Nicholas which isn&#8217;t here yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mr4K4p\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51479470489_b2d13c3c99.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"500\" height=\"209\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I woke up this early this morning, put my wide angle lens on the ole Nikon and started to go outside but then it started to rain. I&#8217;m kind of protective of the ole Nikon so I used the iphone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div style=\"top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%;\">\t\t\t\t<iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;\"  src=\"https:\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/photos\/51478751541\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So the wind is blowing and it is raining and we got a flash flood watch so it is going to be a reading day for us. The condo has an exercise room with dreadmills and such but I doubt I&#8217;ll do that. We have been walking on the beach two or three miles a day and we&#8217;ll see if that happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mqWDeL\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51478085122_ff60089dfa.jpg\" alt=\"surf-adjust\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This and the next couple pics and videos are from yesterday&#8217;s beach walk. I just love walking in the surf. Didn&#8217;t get to do that much growing up in the intermountain west. Don&#8217;t get to do it too much in Oklahoma either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mr2QB6\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51479098923_314da26fe0.jpg\" alt=\"surf 03-adjust\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So I make the most of it here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mqWD3D\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51478084477_70ca5dd84a.jpg\" alt=\"surf 02-adjust\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t mind bad weather. The thing that drives me inside is lightning. I personally know somebody who died from a lightning strike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2mqde3r\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51469809025_e2b01683c0.jpg\" alt=\"DSCF1025\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a shot from when we first got here. The sun was out and the water was clear. We could see dozens of squadrons of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/oceana.org\/marine-life\/sharks-rays\/cownose-ray\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/oceana.org\/marine-life\/sharks-rays\/cownose-ray\" target=\"_blank\">cow nose rays<\/a>. Check the link for more information. I had never heard of them before but they are graceful swimmers. They look like butterflies of the sea even though they are about two or three feet wide. They swim with their mouths wide open hoovering anything in their path. They swam around people.
