Bummer but I am quadruple vaccinated and in good health so I just stayed home and isolated during my recovery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2nw11L5\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52191682108_fb9cb745fb_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Our cat Lizzie would sneak upstairs from time to time to say hello. She is not a cat that likes to be held but she likes being petted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2nw2cU6\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52191914689_73f836954c_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So she would come and say hello and I&#8217;d give a few scratches and pets and then off she would go until the next day or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2nvUKtF\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/52190655137_5ffd505c23_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s one reason we like to have our critters with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I&#8217;m doing fine. They sometimes stash their kits in holes dug in the grass. I&#8217;ve run over them a few times in the past. Never injured them but I can&#8217;t imagine the trauma from having a noisy lawnmower blade just an inch or so from your head. So now the grass is really tall.
