{"id":14234,"date":"2022-11-12T08:20:25","date_gmt":"2022-11-12T14:20:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=14234"},"modified":"2022-11-12T08:20:27","modified_gmt":"2022-11-12T14:20:27","slug":"woolarocs-bison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=14234","title":{"rendered":"Woolaroc&#8217;s Bison"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Not much in the way of wildlife lately so I am posting some photos from years ago from a trip to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.woolaroc.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.woolaroc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Woolaroc<\/a> about an hour north of Tulsa. Woolaroc is Frank Phillips&#8217; ranch near Bartlesvville. Phillips is the guy that started Phillips 66 Oil Company and he donated his ranch and art museum years ago to a private foundation that now runs it and is open to the public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/phmrUZ\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/7526\/15281259013_0ccf7a8400.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0708_7_9_Detail\" width=\"500\" height=\"276\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a nature preserve there that visitors can drive through. Bison, various breeds of deer and other animals can be seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/pWyeS7\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/7483\/15713586670_75e850130e.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0711_0_2_Detail\" width=\"500\" height=\"285\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Woolaroc comes from &#8220;Woods, Lakes, and Rocks&#8221; and that pretty much describes the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/qbPqfd\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/7553\/15874979216_a24230b6b7.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0651\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve always enjoyed visiting Woolaroc.
