I came upon lots of deer but they were skittish and took off and I couldn&#8217;t get a clear shot through the underbrush. I also saw a possum but had the same problem. I did come across these birds on a lake  paddling around. I didn&#8217;t have a very long lens because I was trying for more foliage views than long range photography.
