The first time in a while. The sun was shining and the wind wasn&#8217;t too bad and I took my superzoom camera with me. I stopped at the Zink Dam to rest a bit and take a few photos. Things were busy there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2scHuL2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55266546305_7af5394920.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3912\" width=\"500\" height=\"351\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In a pool just downstream of the dam, the great blue herons were fishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2scGDAn\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55266380909_b507e6562c.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3911\" width=\"500\" height=\"301\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A pod of American Black Tipped Swans had the area downstream of the herons to themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2scG9Hr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55266283763_62c47c83a4.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3910\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Segregation, A station of great blue herons in the pool, pelicans downstream.
