It is hot here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA also. We are always hot in the summer but there is something about this year that is making it worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I like to be outside and so I try and get out early and go hiking on shaded trails like the ones above and below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2stopHD\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55443886155_c218c26c43_c.jpg\" alt=\" \" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I try to be careful. I take lots of water, I go slower, and hike shorter distances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2soH6Rj\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55390950696_1d45899b0b_c.jpg\" alt=\"Backyard Tree Trimming\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is our backyard. We have lived here a long time and we have trees we planted as sapplings that are now huge. This one is on the east side of our backyard so it doesn&#8217;t really give us shade in the afternoon and it doesn&#8217;t allow enough sun to reach the yard so the grass is very sparse.
