SPB&#8217;s class participated as the chorus. They played children (that role came natural to them), then as gingerbread cookies, and back to children. The kids loved it and did a great job. They have been practicing for some time.<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5308232689318998386\" style=\"DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 388px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 279px; TEXT-ALIGN: center\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/20090301_21-300x225.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">Gretel was a soprano, Hansel was played by a woman mezzo soprano. The Opera Company brought four singers and a piano player. They barnstorm all over eastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas putting short versions of popular operas on for school kids.
