I went for the first time last year and it is now a can&#8217;t miss event for me. What the bakers do with the cakes and decorations is amazing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/9984662605\/\" title=\"Sugar Art Show 1 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sugar Art Show 1\" height=\"500\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/9984662605_7364dc0a1f-225x300.jpg\" width=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Every year has a theme and this year is was &#8220;Ballet.&#8221; This cake celebrated Sleeping Beauty. Notice the sleeping beauty at the top of the cake.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/10011540173\/\" title=\"Sugar Art Show 2.jpg by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sugar Art Show 2.jpg\" height=\"500\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/10011540173_9451d4c677-205x300.jpg\" width=\"342\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">It took well over a 100 photographs and I just couln&#8217;t figure out what I like the best so I&#8217;m just showing a few. There are reportedly close to 700 cakes displayed. They are pure sugar and very fragile. Last year somebody ran into one of the tables with a powered wheelchair and destroyed a bunch of masks. This year they had some more precautions.&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Anyway, the Sugar Art Show is just two days a year.&nbsp;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ourworldtuesdaymeme.blogspot.com\/\"><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">Our World Tuesday<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Oklahoma Sugar Art Show was held this past Saturday and Sunday at the Tulsa State Fair.
