I was staying downtown so it was easy during breaks to walk east across the railroad tracks to a funky old commercial industrial area called <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bricktown_%28Oklahoma_City%29\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Bricktown (Oklahoma City)\">Bricktown<\/a>, former home of warehouses, machine shops, and factories and now thoroughly gentrified into restaurants, stores, hotels, and condos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8229088178\/\" title=\"IMG_4179 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_4179\" height=\"500\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/8229088178_b5431c0ca2-168x300.jpg\" width=\"281\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The City has also built a canal that winds through the area. It is a really nice and peaceful place to walk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8229087096\/\" title=\"IMG_4183 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_4183\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/8229087096_43807b5212-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">It is not near the scale of San Antonio&#8217;s Riverwalk but last time I was in San Antonio it was funny how the locals there felt defensive about the Oklahoma City&#8217;s canal. &#8220;Well, its not near as nice as ours.&#8221; Of course not, Oklahoma City&#8217;s version is still great though, and a lot less crowded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8229086480\/\" title=\"IMG_4186 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_4186\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/8229086480_b96435ba87-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Its a great place to take a camera. Better take some duck food also.
