It is a big deal in Tulsa.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8180917965\/\" title=\"Veterans Day Parade 1.jpg by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Veterans Day Parade 1.jpg\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/8180917965_78faaa4af2-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Police motorcycles opened things up along with a color guard. I wear a hat almost always when I&#8217;m outside but not at this parade. I&#8217;m old school, when the flag comes by you take your lid off, unless you are in uniform of course. Big smiles, walking proud. Liz Cravens, my blog friend from Scotland said &#8220;<span style=\"background-color: #edeff4; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 14px;\">ooooh they&#8217;re a bit gaudy!!!&#8221; and &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"background-color: #edeff4; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; line-height: 14px;\">Jeez louise I&#8217;ve seen more subdued pub carpets!!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8180973855\/\" title=\"Flags.jpg by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Flags.jpg\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/8180973855_02ce67a3a0-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And lots and lots of flags.<\/p>\n<p>Kudos to all the participants and to whoever organizes the parade.
