I think that it is great. Anything that takes kids away from their electronics is A-OK with me!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8033572049\/\" title=\"IMG_3342 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_3342\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/8033572049_52cce49700-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">I don&#8217;t know a thing about these animals. I can generally tell a horse from a cow but don&#8217;t bet on it. These though are <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Belgian_Blue\" target=\"_blank\">Belgian Blues<\/a>. I think they are beautiful. According to wikipedia they are &#8220;double muscled&#8221; which gives them a muscular appearance but also means that they are very good at converting grass to lean beef. They are more pink in the photograph than what they are live. They have a beautiful blue color to them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8033572772\/\" title=\"IMG_3341 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_3341\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/8033572772_b5ab2b46b6-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">My sister Ellen posted in her <a href=\"http:\/\/ellensnewblog.blogspot.com\/2012\/09\/they-eyes-have-it.html\" target=\"_blank\">blog<\/a> the other day that she took a photography class and learned that when photographing critters the eyes should be the focal point. It was a revelation for me. There is a real difference &nbsp;in the &#8220;emotion&#8221; of the photographs where the eyes are the focal point and where you can&#8217;t see them. That Ellen, she is one smart cookie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8033572442\/\" title=\"IMG_3344 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_3344\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/8033572442_e814ed4394-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Herefords or &#8220;white faces&#8221; are another of my favorites. They have fallen out of favor I think because of the trend toward leaner beef. I think they are beautiful. Sorry, I couldn&#8217;t get one to look at me. I don&#8217;t blame them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/8033572915\/\" title=\"IMG_3335 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_3335\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/8033572915_418c091d7b-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The goats are something else.
