{"id":589,"date":"2012-09-02T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-09-02T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=589"},"modified":"2014-06-15T04:50:07","modified_gmt":"2014-06-15T04:50:07","slug":"the-quiet-waters-near-rattlesnake-lake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yogisden.us\/?p=589","title":{"rendered":"The Quiet Waters Near Rattlesnake Lake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">During our vacation to Seattle last week one day we visited Rattlesnake Lake about 25 miles west of Seattle and in quest of fresh water we stumbled upon the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seattle.gov\/util\/About_SPU\/Water_System\/Water_Sources_&amp;_Treatment\/Cedar_River_Watershed\/CedarRiverEducationCenter\/index.htm\">Cedar River Watershed Education Center<\/a>&#8221; run by the City of Seattle. You see the local watershed is where Seattle gets most of their water so they want to make sure people understand just how important the area is for providing clean water to Seattle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/7889679902\/\" title=\"IMG_2870 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_2870\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/7889679902_49edaf9b59-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">We found some water to refill out bottles there and also found the coolest thing, drums that were played by water through some drip valves. It was the coolest thing and I just love serendipity. Unfortunately I didn&#8217;t bring my video camera along and didn&#8217;t underestand how to make the video function work on my regular camera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KDTw23huzZI?rel=0\" width=\"560\"><\/iframe><br \/>(by MyCinerama on youtube)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">But YouTube saves the day.
