She has spent a considerable amount of time learning all about the subject. She has become quite passionate about the subject and I love reading about her trespassing and running down trains in order to document good examples of graffiti.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/5087051181\/\" title=\"20101016_49 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"20101016_49\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/5087051181_122018a796-300x168.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When she started posting about graffiti I was a little apprehensive. To me a lot of it is vandalism with paint as opposed to an art form. Although I have to admit many of the practitioners have talent and &nbsp;I wonder why they haven&#8217;t been more productive with their talent.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/6670859751\/\" title=\"Graffiti in Downtown Tulsa by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Graffiti in Downtown Tulsa\" height=\"492\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/6670859751_de73a500e1-300x295.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><br \/>(This isn&#8217;t graffiti, it&#8217;s a commissioned mural.)<\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jenx67.com\/\">Jen<\/a> one gets insight, summaries of research, access to deep thinking, insights, and great photography. Me, you just get snapshots, and &nbsp;a link to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jenx67.com\/\">Jen<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/6202136387\/\" title=\"IMG_6253 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_6253\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/6202136387_36466a6004-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Above is the worst possible graffiti. On a rock face on my beloved Turkey Mountain in Tulsa. Ughh.<\/p>\n<p>I ventured to the Elm Creek Tunnel discharge into the Arkansas River. I had two purposes. One was to check out the graffiti, the other was to find a geocache hidden there. I find some graffiti, I have yet to find the geocache.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/6987883051\/\" title=\"IMG_6713 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_6713\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/6987883051_8537891ac4-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lets just say that the most of the talent of the graffiti artists here is still rather undeveloped.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/6841760100\/\" title=\"IMG_6716 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_6716\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/6841760100_f009679b7b-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They are pretty good sloganeers though. I bet you didn&#8217;t know sloganeers was a word. Try it on Words With Friends if you get a chance. Let me know how it works for you.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/6841760048\/\" title=\"IMG_6715 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_6715\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/6841760048_583de1d67e-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll have to do some more research to find the vivid examples that my friend Jen finds.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/6841760178\/\" title=\"IMG_6717 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_6717\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/6841760178_210df86562-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I like this sentiment, but the art needs a little work.<\/p>\n<p>Tulsa&#8217;s storm drain system also fascinates me apparently we have a very extensive drainage system that attracts urban explorers from all over. Below is a video of a party that was thrown about a half mile into the tunnel in 2010. &nbsp;Personally, I think those attending the party are nuts. Attending the party in ankle deep water in the dark?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZoWWRZR2ATQ?rel=0\" width=\"560\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So, I&#8217;ll be on the lookout for a lot better examples of graffiti.
