The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.riverparks.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tulsa River Parks Authority<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/metrecycle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Metropolitan Environmental Trust,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kab.org\/site\/PageServer?pagename=index\" target=\"_blank\">Keep American Beautiful<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/anheuser-busch.com\/index.php\/our-company\/\" target=\"_blank\">Budweiser<\/a> got together and sponsored it. There were over a 100 people show up to provide slave labor and then attend an afterparty.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"DSCN2181 by alnbbates, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/14616754146\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3841\/14616754146_f3c60f3ff8_z.jpg\" alt=\"DSCN2181\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many people showed up to help rebuild part of the trail. That sounded like too much work for me so I joined some Budweiser guys and other volunteers on cleaning up the Yellow Trail. We pretty much picked the trail clean. Personally I picked up one Bud can, two Bud Lights, a Natural Light (called &#8220;Natty&#8221; by the Budweiser guys), and a Modelo. The Bud guys said that pretty much reflects the local market where they have a 70% market share. Plus they don&#8217;t make Modelo but they distribute it. So clean sweep for Budweiser!<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"DSCN2182 by alnbbates, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/14639305552\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3913\/14639305552_340688b606_z.jpg\" alt=\"DSCN2182\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our leader pointed out her &#8220;Pregnant Tree.&#8221; She said that one time she went and touched it and made a wish and her wish came true. Who can resist that story!! There was also this Bobcat. If I had a gazillion bucks I&#8217;d have a Bobcat. I would dig holes, knock down trees, and in general make a mess. \u00a0I know that is not very green of me but there it is.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"DSCN2186 by alnbbates, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/14452245180\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm3.staticflickr.com\/2916\/14452245180_ab8ab1da23_z.jpg\" alt=\"DSCN2186\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I just love taking pictures of people taking pictures. Notice the adult malted beverages they had on hand. Budweiser also provided lunch for everybody.<\/p>\n<p>All in all it was a great event.
