My hobby takes me to many out of the way places including many long forgotten remote cemeteries like Mount Zion&nbsp;Lutheran&nbsp;Cemetery in Washita County, Oklahoma. It is truly in the middle of nowhere. Down a long dirt road.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/5899001095\/\" title=\"IMG_5768 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_5768\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/5899001095_a5fe136ff7-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With only a few cows, and a compressor station that processes gas from the Colony Wash gas field as neighbors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/5898997051\/\" title=\"IMG_5765 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_5765\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/5898997051_1c33fc29b3-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are lots of sad stories in these old cemeteries. I always wonder if anybody remembers these stories. Young Miss Rosie Lee Kolb would be 83 now. She has been buried in the red dirt of western Oklahoma that long, through the baking summers and the ice cold winters and the wind that may change direction but never quits.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/28381904@N06\/5898999209\/\" title=\"IMG_5766 by alnbbates, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_5766\" height=\"375\" src=\"http:\/\/yogisden.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/5898999209_4e9011e815-300x225.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And then there are the mysteries. &#8220;Unknown&#8221;, was the person unknown when the died, or is their a grave and they don&#8217;t know who is in it.
