It looks to me like somebody has a chip on their shoulder. I really couldn’t find any connection between twerps and chickens on Google so I don’t quite get this. It makes a striking sign though, especially for a car wash.

Great looking sign, even if the name is a bit odd.
Great find.
Cute sign. Looks like a chicken hawk to me.
Perhaps it makes the twerpie chicken fights back? 😉 Fun image.
Feisty looking little bugger, isn’t he? I love it! Kind of reminds me of of me these days!!! Hope you have a great day!!

Is twerp an American word? We use it over here. I’ve just had to look it up and in my OED it says “origin unknown”. Curiouser and curiouser…….
So all those “little twerp” comments from my dad means that he was calling me a chicken? What did it say on Google? I guess I’ve been called worse.
That’s a great sign! I wonder if the chicken is calling cars “little twerps?” Who knows–but I like it!
Boxing gloves, car wash….Dunno. Cool sign.
That little twerp looks a bit scary to me!
Someone has a great sense of humor.
Maybe it’s an inside joke, anyway, it gets you attention.
Thanks for my morning smile.
thanks for a good laugh first thing in the morning. definitely a memorable logo!
this got me grinning. a chicken with gloves–the little twerp is fight back.:p
The sign is memorable, anyway, even if the meaning is a little obscure. I was trying to find meaning, I guess, because at first I read ‘chirp’ (insted of chip) on his shoulder!
I think the bantam-weight rooster is there to remind customers to pay for the car wash…or else!
