I can only echo what Sunny has written! I, too, love a parade and you do indeed have a terrific collection of proud faces! Marvelous capture for the day! Hope you and Sweetie and SPB have a fun, fantastic weekend! Enjoy!
We have Remembrance Day which is accompanied by a two minute silence at the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month. The “official” Remembrance Day is when the Queen, members of the Royal family and Cabinet lay wreaths of poppies at the Cenotaph on the Sunday following the 11th i.e. tomorrow. This is then followed by ex servicemen and women proudly marching or being pushed in wheelchairs past the Cenotaph. A sight which always brings tears to the eyes. Ours is more commemorative rather than joyous.

LOVE this, Yogi.
You get to see and do a lot of neat things by working downtown.
Your facial mosaic is wonderful, Yogi – reminding us that so many different ethnic groups serve to keep our freedom alive.
Looks like fun, nice pictures.
Now I don’t feel like I missed the parade. Thanks, Yogi!
Your blog is always fun, but this is just outstanding. Great post, thank you.

Beautiful photos – a wonderful tribute to our Veterans.
Just stopping by from Georgie’s and the SSS list to say hi to all of the participants for this year. ‘Hi!’ 🙂
Nice portraits of the parading veterans. It’s always good to see our vets honored.
